I recently completed a covert operation. It was an operation that will save hundreds if not thousands of gallons of fresh water a week and it is unlikely that anyone will notice.

I secretly snuck behind the bushes of the business next door and turned off their sprinkler system. Boo Ya! While I was at it, I turned off our own. That way, no one will suspect anything.

I’ll let you know if they figure it out and I’ll try to estimate how many gallons of water I saved with just this quick little move.

So, if you are in an industrial park or over a neighbor’s house one day, I suggest you look for the outside shutoff of the sprinkler system and turn that water-wasting son-of-a-gun off.
